  • I know this Congress is an ugly mess, but the 108th and 109th I think were worse. They were complicit in the Bush tax cuts and getting us into two illegal wars. Hastert, Sensenbrenner, Frist, Delay, oh, so many nauseating neo-cons.

  • Free spaying and neutering clinics would go a long way, but nobody wants to pay higher taxes, so this quickly becomes a political issue. The politicians won't say it, but you know what they're thinking: what do you want, better schools or humane treatment of animals?
